The human machine

O Lord, I know the way of man

is not in himself.....

Jeremiah 10:23....

Man is such a complex human being. It is mere common sense that He has a creator and I am filled with awe to see His power, His hands at work everyday.

I am inspired by C.S Lewis's writings , where he says.....

"Now God designed the human machine

to run on Himself.

God cannot give us happiness and peace

apart from Himself, because it is not there.

There is no such thing."

These days I have been very busy and time seems to be flying away. All my kidos have been playing basketball and practise schedules have been pretty hectic. I am so thankful to the Lord for good health He has bestowed upon us to enjoy the life He has given us. At this I also take a moment out to pray for all those with health issues and I know our Lord is sufficient for me and them. The Lord has a purpose for everyone in their life however it may be.

We should do the best we can where life has placed us. God did'nt create us for mediocrity. If we feel passionately about our choices we should be thankful for it and do our best. Asking God for the courage, the perseverance, and the wisdom we need to do what He has created us for to glorify Him.

"Let no corrupt word

proceed out of your mouth,

but what is good for

necessary edification,

that it may impart grace to the hearers."

Ephesians 4:29
